Kawan Ardalan

I am Kawan Ardalan, a dedicated third-year senior student at Texas A&M University, pursing a degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics. My academic journey is catalyzed by a goal to excel in software development and to make meaningful contributions to the field of technology. Alongside my coursework, I have gained invaluable hands-on experience as an IT Infrastructure Support Technician at Deacero USA, where I led the development of an internal inventory management system, showcasing my proficiency in React and C# while ensuring the smooth functioning of computer hardware and software across the company.

During my time at Texas A&M University, I have had the opportunity to engage in impactful projects that bridge the gap between theory and practice. In projects like "Photosen," I explored Human-Computer Interaction principles to promote digital inclusivity, developing a Python-based prototype web extension to analyze videos for photosensitive epileptic triggers. Additionally, my involvement in the "Tiger Sugar" project demonstrated my expertise in full-stack web development, contributing to the design and implementation of a user-friendly web application for a Boba café, integrating cutting-edge technologies such as React, PostgreSQL, and Node.js.

Beyond academics and professional endeavors, I remain actively engaged in extracurricular activities that foster personal growth and community engagement. As a member of the Aggie Coding Club, I have had the opportunity to network with fellow software developers, participate in workshops, and gain insights from industry professionals. Additionally, my passion for sports is evident through my years of dedication to tennis, where I have honed discipline and perseverance through rigorous training regiments. Looking ahead, I am eager to leverage my diverse skill set and passion for technology to drive positive change and innovation in the field of computer science, fueled by a steadfast commitment to continuous learning and growth.
