About

She has applied these skills in collaborative settings such as TAMUHack, where she helped develop a web application that supports natural disaster relief by connecting users with essential resources. Beyond her academic work, Mairead has served as an instructor for the Rice University ELITE Tech camp, part of the Rice Center for Engineering Leadership (RCEL). In this role, she mentored high school students through hands-on engineering activities, fostering their interest in STEM and problem solving.
