About

Haya Homsi ’26, College Station, Texas. I will graduate from College Station High School on May 22, 2026, as a distinguished student of achievement. I am a member of the National Honor Society, the National Society of High School Scholars, and the Lions Clubs International - College Station Noon Lions Club. I have also been awarded an academic letter jacket in recognition of my academic achievement. I have focused on engineering coursework and competitive robotics throughout high school.

I built a strong foundation in balancing my AP Classes, while competing in VEX Robotics, where I served as Engineering Notebook Manager. In this role, I recorded every process my team iterated in the robot design, helping my team advance to the regional competition. I also participated in competitive swimming at the Texas A&M University Recreation Center, which has strengthened my discipline and consistency.

At Texas A&M University, I plan to study aerospace engineering in the field of aerodynamics. I am passionate about how airflow, lift, and drag shape aircraft performance, and how advanced tools like AI can improve aerospace systems. I also hope to take part in hands-on projects, research, and get involved in student organizations that further build my skills.

In the future, I am determined to work for NASA or SpaceX, and I hope to one day build my own space company. I want to contribute to their research and missions as a way to leave a lasting imprint for everyone to remember.
