Marie Paule Guiton

Marie-Paule is an engineer and manager at Walmart Regional Distribution Centers, where she leads a team of engineers and professionals. She has an M.S. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of North Texas (UNT) and a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. Prior to that, she worked as a quality engineer for FedEx and other companies. She is a champion in Lean Six Sigma, quality control, process and continuous improvement. She spearheaded the strategic management of multiple quality and process improvement projects, resulting in tangible improvements in customers’ loyalty, relationship building, and significant market share expansion. She coached and mentored new engineers in the workforce on root cause analysis, data analytics, and corrective and preventive actions. Her commitment to skill development has cultivated a culture of problem-solving and quality excellence within her team. She managed and led groundbreaking projects with high dollar value, showing her ability to take on and successfully deliver on complex engineering projects. She is currently active in community outreach in her home country to enhance healthcare and education for children. She participates in charity programs, especially for young mothers and children. She is passionate about reading, learning new technologies, baking, and cooking. She loves sharing ideas and best practices.
