WEB1 — Introduction to Web Development
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, then Django. At the end, each cohort puts a real site online — with hosting and a domain name.
Pages that actually exist.
WEB1 is an introductory course for students who want to learn the basics of web development and build their own websites. Learners use their own judgment and creativity to design pages that are attractive and accessible.
The path runs from HTML syntax to responsive layout, by way of accessibility and security. Since 2026, the course adds Django and finishes with the project actually going live — hosting, domain name, deployment.
The Glazoué commune website.
In 2025, the WEB1 cohort designed the commune's website — from writing the project brief in July to delivery in September.
The project brief was written between July 15 and September 11, 2025, supervised by Pérès Azeligui and Pierre Okambawa. The site was built in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — the three languages at the core of the course.
Three cohorts since 2024.
