About me
Joshua Robert is an incoming M.D./M.Eng. candidate at Texas A&M University's School of Engineering Medicine, where he aims to integrate engineering and medicine to revolutionize healthcare. As a Brown Foundation Scholar and National Merit Scholar, he has distinguished himself in research, leadership, and innovation.
Currently a senior at Texas A&M, Joshua has conducted research at the College of Medicine and Houston Methodist, contributing to advancements in medical imaging and stem cell research. His expertise spans machine learning, medical image analysis, and blockchain-based health data management, with hands-on experience in AI/ML frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow. He has worked extensively with healthcare organizations, including Baylor Scott & White, St. David’s Medical Center, and Houston Methodist, and has experience with EHR systems such as Epic and eClinicalWorks.
Joshua is the founder of AnalyticAI, an AI-driven platform that streamlines medical image analysis, making diagnostics more accessible and efficient. His work has received recognition from the National Science Foundation I-Corps and the Ai4 Conference, securing over $15,000 in non-dilutive funding. As a VentureWell Impact-Launch Fellow, he worked on Uterostim, a med-tech innovation aimed at preventing postpartum hemorrhage, which won multiple awards for humanitarian impact.
Beyond research, Joshua serves as a National Board Member of Sling Health, a student-led med-tech incubator, where he has led public relations efforts and secured over $20,000 in funding. His leadership extends to AI advocacy, serving as an OpenAI Forum Member, where he advises on AI’s role in healthcare.
With a deep passion for medical technology, Joshua is dedicated to advancing patient care through AI and engineering-driven solutions. He plans to continue this mission as he embarks on his M.D./M.Eng. journey at EnMed, blending clinical expertise with cutting-edge innovation.
