
About me
Adam Vasquez is a junior at Texas A&M University, where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a minor in Statistics. He is an active member of organizations such as ColorStack, the Aggie AI Society, and the Texas A&M Computing Society. His academic focus lies in software engineering, operating systems, and data analytics. Adam has participated in research-driven and project-based learning, most notably as a co-creator of Coinvo, an AI-powered financial advising platform that placed second in the 2025 PIMCO Challenge at TAMUhack. His work integrated real-time stock tracking with an AI chatbot using Flask and the OpenAI API. He has also collaborated on full-stack applications involving MySQL databases, React Native mobile apps, and interactive web interfaces. In addition to his academic pursuits, Adam served as Vice President and Treasurer of the Chess Club at Lone Star College, where he helped grow membership and organized events. Upon completing his undergraduate studies, Adam plans to pursue graduate school, with aspirations to apply machine learning in building impactful, real-world software systems.
