Kuan-Ru (Randy) Huang is a graduate student pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science at Texas A&M University, expected to graduate in June 2026. He has conducted research in various areas, including video coding, attention mechanisms, and quantization. He has interned at the Industrial Technology Research Institute, where he contributed to high-efficiency video coding and MPEG-4 standard development. He also has experience as a teaching assistant and research assistant, working on projects that analyze patent data using R and developing emotion recording applications using machine learning models. Randy is proficient in multiple programming languages and has demonstrated his skills in research, project management, and software development through academic and professional accomplishments.
