Viswanath (Vish) Balaji

Viswanath Balaji is a second year international student at Texas A&M University School of Engineering, where he is pursing a degree in Computer Science, and currently applying to the School of Arts and Sciences, where he will be pursing a degree in Applied Mathematics in Cryptography, as well as a minor in statistics and physics. In his studies, Viswanath's main focus is on Cybersecurity and finding faults with commonly used computer systems, as well as a side focus on machine learning and artificial intelligence. He is also an active member of A&M's cybersecurity club, acting as a committee member for the PR committee, and coming in third place in TAMU Cybersecurity Defense Challenge. Upon completion of his undergrad studies, he aims to get a masters in Applied Math before switching to Industry in hopes of being a red teamer.
